According to the Wall Street Journal's "Middle Seat" column, 40% of the flights on the list of the top 100 chronically delayed flights either take off or land at Newark. The biggest offenders are two Delta Air Lines flights from Atlanta to Newark, one at 5 p.m. and the other at 6:45 p.m.
And don't expect to sidestep the issue by flying to Laguardia or JFK—they're not far behind in the delay department. The takeaway? Pack some snacks—you might be there be there for a while.
