A man fell onto the subway tracks yesterday afternoon but somehow managed to avoid the train as it rolled over him. The Daily News reports that around 3:40 p.m., a man who suffers from hypertension collapsed onto the tracks of the northbound 3 train, moments before the train pulled into the station.

Rescue workers pulled the man from the tracks—he avoided the third rail, too—and he was conscious when he arrived at Bellevue Hospital.
