A shirtless robber has been breaking into laundromats and stealing cash—not clothes—according to the NYPD. Oh, and he also appears to have broken into an artisanal meat restaurant in Astoria—because why not?

According to the NYPD the unidentified robber first struck the organic meatery, Butcher Bar, last Tuesday at about 2:30 in the morning and walked off with cash from the register. Then on Friday at about 3:30 a.m. he hit up Mister Laundree at 32-02 34th Avenue and again walked away with cash from the register. Finally, just for good measure, the next day at some point between midnight and 5:30 a.m. he hit up Astoria Laundry at 28-09 24th Avenue and again emptied the register.

During his second robbery, however, the burglar was caught on the laundromat's security camera. Presumably to cover his face (and maybe show off his abs?) the robber had pulled his shirt over his head. Police describe the suspect as being a white or hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 30. He was last seen in a "T-shirt with an eagle printed on it and dark blue jeans."

As usual, if you know anything about the man in the photos or any of those robberies, the police ask you to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
