After successfully securing their place in Zuccotti Park and seeing more violent reactions from the NYPD, the Occupy Wall Street protesters will take their message worldwide. 951 cities spread over 82 countries will feature marches and demonstrations in an effort to enact "Global Change." New York City will host several events, beginning with a march on Chase Bank at 11 a.m. and culminating in a 5 p.m. meet up in Times Square.
At 11 a.m. protesters will march from Liberty Square to Chase Bank as part of a call to "Move Your Money" out of banks that were "too big to fail" and into community banks and credit unions. At that same time there is an Occupy the Bronx meet up in Fordham Plaza.
At 12 p.m. there is a student general assembly meeting in Washington Square Park, and at 5 p.m., all the protesters will come together for the Times Square Convergence/Occupation Party, after which they will head downtown to the Financial District.
