Sure, the 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl will be played in East Rutherford, NJ, but that doesn't mean New Yorkers miss out on all the fun. As promised, the "Super Bowl Boulevard" in Times Square will feature a huge toboggan—and that means vehicular access will be restricted for a week!

According to CBS 2, "Times Square will be on lockdown. Starting at midnight on Jan. 26 through Feb. 1, Broadway from 33d Street to 48th Street will be closed to vehicles. In addition, 41st Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to midnight." Super Bowl Boulevard is Broadway between 34th and 47th Streets.

Also: "By game time the NYPD will have had a full complement of security measures in place for a week, including: police helicopters with special sensors to detect radiation on the ground, a counter terrorism 360-degree camera car to look for suspicious packages, bomb dogs, video cameras mounted as the NYPD’s “eyes in the sky” at various event locations, lots of radiation detection boats in addition to the usual complement of heavily armed cops."

The toboggan (planned to be 180-long and 58-feet high with 8 lanes) will be joined by viewing areas and a concert stage. You'll be able to figure out how to get from NYC's Super Bowl festivities to NJ's Super Bowl festivities thanks to this pretty map.
