Ex-Giants running back Tiki Barber, who turns 35 today, has dumped his 8-months-pregnant wife for a 23-year-old former NBC intern. According to the Post, Barber left Ginny, his wife of 11 years, for Traci Lynn Johnson, whom he has apparently been seeing for at least five months. Barber announced yesterday, "This decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably and will continue to work together to raise our children with the love and dedication they have always known." Hmm, this all sounds very familiar.

The news comes as a surprise to many close to Barber, who has always spoken ill of his womanizing father. He told the Post in 2004, "I don't give a [bleep] that the relationship didn't work. Not only did he abandon her, I felt like he abandoned us for a lot of our lives. I have a hard time forgiving that." Barber allegedly first met Johnson when he was hired by NBC in 2007. They were seen together at a screening of a documentary on Senegal in D.C. a few months ago, and one source says, "We believe she was also with him in Vancouver while he was blogging about the Winter Olympics for Yahoo.com." No, not while he was blogging! Great, now blogging's being dragged into the gutter.

Ginny is the mother of their two sons, and is currently 8 months pregnant with twins, and Barber has said on multiple occasions that he wants to set an example for them. He said in his memoir, "I want to be an honorable man, because that's what I want [my sons] to be. My family is everything to me."
