Earlier this morning, around 6 a.m., the Throgs Neck Bridge was closed due to a suspicious vehicle. According to WCBS 2, "A black Nissan was discovered underneath the bridge with its engine running and the bomb squad was notified as a precaution." The bridge reopened after no explosives were discovered, but since traffic was diverted for about two hours, expect delays (see the webcams). It's unclear if the police have found the car's owner and/or driver.
