A young child who was found wandering by himself in Bed-Stuy early in the morning on Friday was reunited with his mother, according to cops.
A police spokesperson said that about 4:30 a.m. today, a 3-year-old boy was found by an NYPD patrol near the corner of Lexington Avenue and Stuyvesant Street, walking the streets by himself. The child was taken to Woodhull Hospital but was eventually reunited with his mother.
ACS was notified of the incident, but so far there have been no charges brought against the mother. We'll update as we find out more.
In April, an 8-year-old boy went missing from his school in Bed-Stuy and was later found wandering alone along the J train subway tracks.
