Police are investigating two separate early-morning subway stabbings.
The first occured in Brooklyn, by the Prospect Park subway station. At around 2:30 a.m., a 50-year-old man was on a southbound Q train when two people approached him and demanded his money, He refused and was stabbed during an altercation. The suspects fled and victim was taken to a hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
A little later, at the 116th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station, two men were stabbed. The police are still investigating. WCBS 2 reports that the victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.
