Three men operating an ice cream truck allegedly carjacked another man in Astoria this morning, according to police.

The NYPD says that at around 8:35 a.m., three men in a pink-and-white ice cream truck rear-ended a 2001 Honda while in the vicinity of 12th Street and 26th Ave. The three men then allegedly got out of the truck to confront the driver of the Honda, who the Post identifies as 31-year-old Zohaile Kakavand; cops say they approached the Honda, got into an argument with him, assaulted him and drove off in his car, leaving the ice cream truck behind.

Cops say Kakavand sustained contusions to his head and face; the Honda was recovered a few blocks away, though the three men have not yet been apprehended. The incident is still under investigation.
