Three people were killed and seven others were injured in multiple shootings across Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx last night. According to police, the bloody night started around 10:40 p.m. in Brownsville, when 25-year-old man was fatally shot at 19 Sackman Street. About an hour later, 43-year-old Bernard Johnson was shot in the head in front of his home on Fish Avenue in the Laconia section of the Bronx.
Just after midnight, two people were shot in the legs on Riverdale Avenue in Brownsville. Then around 3 a.m., there were four non-fatal shooting incidents within a half hour period in Brooklyn, in Brownsville and in Red Hook. A man and woman were hit at 101 Thatford Avenue and Pitkin Avenue during a drive-by shooting; others were shot outside 497 Dekalb Avenue and 16 Mill Street. Finally, around 4:40 a.m., a 36-year-old man was fatally shot outside Club Remington in Jamaica, Queens. No arrests have been made yet in any of the shootings.
