The NY State Police are investigating the deaths of three people in Pound Ridge.

Officers from the NY State Police's Somers barracks, as well as the Pound Ridge police department, responded to a residence on Fox Hill Road in the Westchester suburb at 11:10 a.m. on Friday. The Journal News says that 20 officers were at the scene. Upon their arrival, they found three deceased in what the state police called an "apparent murder-suicide."

The state police did not release any information about the victims, pending notification of next of kin. WABC 7 reports that sources say the deceased "include a mother, father and 18-year-old child."
