A pedestrian was killed in a three-car collision in Midwood early Saturday morning as she attempted to cross the street.

Police say that shortly after midnight on Saturday the driver of a 2013 Ford Fiesta was traveling south on Coney Island Avenue when he hit the left fender of an SUV traveling east on Avenue N. Both vehicles spun into the crosswalk at Avenue N, where 63-year-old Galina Truglio was crossing. The two cars also hit another vehicle stopped at the light before coming to a stop. Truglio, who lived a few blocks away on Ocean Parkway, was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital. None of the drivers were injured.

An NYPD spokeswoman says that the investigation is ongoing, but that no charges have been filed yet.

The Daily News reports that another pedestrian, a 58-year-old man, is in critical condition after being hit by a car crossing Nostrand Avenue at Church Avenue in East Flatbush around 6 a.m. on Saturday.
