You have 80 billion holiday parties to attend this weekend, one of which is in Harlem and another of which is in Crown Heights and then there's that one in Woodside. So, naturally, a handful of lines will be wonky for the next few days, though the good news is that winter keeps us from suffering both summer's onslaught of track work and the horrors of standing on a 105-plus degree subway platform waiting for an A train that will never come.
Here's what's on/off tap this weekend:
4 trains will run in two sections, between Woodlawn and 125 St and between 125 St and New Lots Av. That change is in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Saturday, from 12:01 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Sunday, and from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday. Crown Hts-Utica Av bound 4 trains will make express stops from 125 St to Grand Central-42 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, from 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Woodlawn-bound 4 trains will make local stops from Grand Central-42 St to 125 St from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to Monday morning. Trains on that line will skip 138 St-Grand Concourse from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, from 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall bound 6 trains make express stops from 125 St to Grand Central-42 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, from 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Inwood-207 St bound A trains will run express from Canal St to 145 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Saturday, from 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
168 St-bound C trains make express stops from Canal St to 145 St from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Norwood-205 St bound D trains will reroute along the C line from W4 St-Wash Sq to 145 St, with that change in effect from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
F trains will not run in either direction between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and Kings Hwy, with that change in effect from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. There will be additional F service between Jamaica-179 St and 2 Av from 9 a.m. to 7p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, and Jamaica-179 St bound F trains will skip 169 St from 11:45 pm. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
L trains will not run in either direction between Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy and Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Astoria-bound N trains will reroute along the Q line from DeKalb Av to Canal Street from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.
71 Av-bound R trains will reroute along the Q line from DeKalb Av to Canal St, with that change in effect from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
