A full-scale replica of an apartment made entirely from cardboard is on display in Times Square today! The one-day-only installation is part of a fundraising effort for Serving the UnderServed (SUS), an organization that provides housing and other services to the homeless and disabled. As you can see here, the cardboard cutouts are impressively detailed, right down to slices of corrugated toast coming out of a cardboard toaster. And by text-messaging a donation, you could turn that fake toaster into a real one for someone in need of toast.

If you want to check out, act fast; the cardpartment will only be in Times Square until 6 p.m. And there are a lot more photos here.
