A superb summer weekend looms before us, and just like you, a chunk of this city's transit system plans to spend it at the beach. Unfortunately, you may rely on the trains to get you to the beach, so this puts you in a sticky spot. It's pretty easy to see who's going to win the war versus Man and Machine.

Here's what's on tap this weekend:

Crown Hts-Utica Av bound 4 will make express stops from Grand Central-42 St to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, starting at 10:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Saturday.

Pelham Bay Park-bound 6 trains will make express stops from Parkchester to Pelham Bay Park, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Sunday. Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall bound 6 trains will make express stops from Parkchester to Hunts Point Av from 6:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. On that same track, trains run express from Grand Central-42 St to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall from 10:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

Times Sq-42 St bound 7 trains will make express stops from Mets-Willets Point to Queensboro Plaza, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Sunday.

A trains will make local stops between W4 St-Wash Sq and 59 St-Columbus Circle, starting at 12:01 a.m. Saturday and ending at 5 a.m. Inwood-207 St bound A trains will run express between 125 St and 168 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. All A trains will reroute along the F line between W4 St-Wash Sq and Jay St-MetroTech, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday.

All C trains will reroute along the F line between W 4 St-Wash Sq and Jay St-MetroTech, starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. 168 St-bound C trains will run express from 125 St to 168 St, starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound D trains will make express stops from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 36 St, with that change in effect from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

E trains will not run in either direction between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer and Briarwood. That change is in effect from 11:45 pm. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. WTC-bound E trains will run express from Forest Hills-71 Av to Queens Plaza from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. On that same track, trains will skip Sutphin Blvd, Briarwood, and 75 Av from 11:45 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

F trains will run express between Neptune Av and Smith-9 Street on the Jamaica-179 St bound track, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday. Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound F trains skip Sutphin Blvd, Briarwood, and 75 Av during that time.

Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound N trains will make express stops from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to 59 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Astoria-Ditmars Blvd bound N trains will reroute along the R line from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to Canal Street from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. And from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, N trains will skip 49 St on the Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound track.

Manhattan-bound Q trains will make express stops between Kings Hwy and Prospect Park, starting at 11:15 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday. On that same track, Q trains will reroute along the R line from DeKalb Av to Canal St, starting at 6 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. And on the Coney Island-Stillwell Av bound track, Q trains will skip 49 St; that change is in effect from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Manhattan-bound R trains will make express stops between Forest Hills-71 Av and Queens Plaza from 6:30 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. Bay Ridge-95 St bound R trains will make express stops between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 59 St from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On that same track, trains will skip 45 St and 53 St from 11:45 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sunday and from 1145 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday; they will also skip 49 St from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
