Another day, another reminder that the MTA will be making the subway an unhappy place this weekend. The unending weekend track work that turns the F train and the like into twisty labyrinths of pain continues, with changes affecting 17 out of 20 lines. As ever, here is the rundown:

The downtown 1 and 2 trains will be running express from 14th Street to Chambers Street, starting tonight at 11:45 p.m. and lasting through 5 a.m. Monday morning. The 2 will be skipping 241st Street in both directions.

The 4 and 5 trains will run local from Grand Central-42nd Street to 125th Street on the uptown track all weekend; the 5 will be running every 20 minutes between Dyre Avenue and Bowling Green all day Saturday and Sunday. The 6 train runs in two sections, between Pelham Bay Park and 125th Street and between 125th Street and Brooklyn Bridge, and Manhattan-bound 6 trains run express from Hunts Point Avenue to 3rd Avenue-138th Street.

The A and C trains runs express from Canal Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle overnight on the uptown track, and will skip Fulton Street in both directions during the day on Saturday and Sunday. The D skips DeKalb Avenue and runs express from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to 36th Street overnight on the Coney Island-bound track.

Manhattan-bound E trains run express from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Roosevelt Avenue overnight, and Jamaica Center-bound E trains are rerouted via the F line from 2nd Avenue to 47th-50th Streets all weekend. There are no E trains between World Trade Center and West 4th Street, and Manhattan-bound E trains skip Van Wyck Blvd and 75th Avenue all weekend. The F train is rerouted along the M line from 47th-50th Streets to Queens Plaza on the Jamaica-bound track starting at 9:45 p.m. and lasting through 5 a.m. Monday; it will also skip Sutphin Blvd , Van Wyck Blvd and 75th Avenue on the Coney Island-bound track.

There will be no G train service between Court Square and Nassau Avenue all weekend. Jamaica Center-bound J trains will be running express from Myrtle Avenue to Broadway Junction on Saturday until 10 p.m. on Sunday. There will be no M service at all this weekend, and the L train will not run between 8th Avenue and 14th Street-Union Square.

The N train will skip DeKalb Avenue and run express from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to 36th Street on the Coney Island-bound track overnight, and will skip 30th Avenue, Broadway, 36th Avenue and 39th Avenue on the same track all weekend. The Q will run express from Kings Highway to Newkirk Plaza on the 57th Street/7th Avenue-bound track all weekend, while the R runs express from Forest Hills-71st Avenue to Roosevelt Avenue on the Manhattan-bound track on Saturday and Sunday; on the Bay Ridge-bound track, the R will skip DeKalb Avenue and run express from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to 36th Street. And, naturally, the N and the R will not run between Court Street in Brooklyn and Whitehall Street in Manhattan, because that is not a thing that happens anymore.
