Fresh off a dominant performance by their defense, the Giants face one of the best offenses in the league. The Houston Texans have averaged over 400 yards per game and they have the talent to beat you on the ground or in the air. Arian Foster already has over 500 yards rushing and he is averaging over 6 yards a carry. Andre Johnson leads a deep receiving corps that gives the underrated Matt Schaub plenty of options when he drops back to pass.

It’s hard to imagine the Giants dominating the Texans offense in the same manner that they dominated the Bears. Schaub won’t hold the ball for an eternity like Jay Cutler did and the threat of Arian Foster will force the Giants to rush fewer players. That means the Giants offense is going to have to get points on the board and they certainly didn’t seem up to that challenge last week.

Asking the Giants to go on the road and defeat a likely playoff team is a tall order and they aren’t ready for the challenge. The pick here is Houston.
