The body of a 15-year-old girl, who was mailing a letter, was found outside a Bronxville church on Wednesday morning. At this point, police suspect Mihoko Fukuzawa slipped and died of internal bleeding—Police Chief Christopher Satriale said, "We don't believe it was an attack"—but they are seeking a bicyclist seen in a surveillance video.

Passers-by found the girl's body outside Christ Church on Sagamore Road around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday; WPIX reports that the church's caretaker "said someone else at the scene found the return address on the package and ran to the nearby address to alert the girl's parents." While police initially did not rule out foul play, an autopsy found that the teen had "trauma to her face and nose and a lacerated liver."

The Journal News reports that police want to question a bicyclist who apparently passed Fukuzawa, "The man was caught on surveillance video 90 seconds after the girl disappeared from the camera’s view — and four minutes before police received their first 911 calls... Police said the injuries could have been caused by a fall or by being struck by a bicycle."
