Three suspects from the Bronx have been indicted for murder after an 18-year-old was struck by two cars trying to run away from them. Malik Jenkins, 18, was wearing a $600 Marmot Mammoth jacket when he and a friend were "lured" to the Justice Sonia Sotomayor Houses by 15-year-old April Brooks and her cousin, 17-year-old Jasmine Castrillo. Once there, they were confronted by four men, who stole his friend's $150 True Religion jacket.

The four men reportedly tried to rob Jenkins too, but he broke free and ran off across Bruckner Boulevard, where he was struck by two cars and killed. It's unclear why three suspects have been charged when there were four men attempting to rob him, but Jenkins's mother said, It's horrible that any mother should have to go through what I'm going through for a piece of material. I hope [the suspects] get exactly what they deserve and justice prevails." However, Castrillo's lawyer said they will have "a tough time proving my client is involved with this." Marmot Mammoth jackets, known as "Biggies," are popular on Craigslist, and many listings ask for Foamposite sneaker trades.
