The impending promised rain makes this a good weekend to get more familiar with your neighborhood's Seamless offerings, but at least the subways will be less hellish, provided they don't get flooded! Here are the changes on tap:
Southbound 1 trains will run express from 145th Street to 96th Street all weekend long, starting at 11:45 p.m. tonight. The 2 train will run in two sections, between 241 St and 149 St-Grand Concourse and between 149 St-Grand Concourse and Flatbush Ave, starting at 3:45 a.m. on Saturday and ending at 10 p.m. on Sunday. Manhattan-bound trains will run express from E 180 St to 3 Av-149 St during this time.
Brooklyn-bound 4 trains make local stops from 125 St to Grand Central-42 St overnight, starting at 11 p.m. on Saturday until 6 a.m. on Sunday, and from 11 p.m. on Sunday until 5 a.m. on Monday. 5 trains are suspended between E180 St and Bowling Green from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday; 4 trains will make 5 station stops between 149 St-Grand Concourse and Bowling Green during this time. Southbound 6 trains run express from Pelham Bay Park to Parkchester all weekend long, starting at 11:45 p.m. tonight.
A trains will not run in either direction between 168 St and Inwood-207 St, starting at 11:45 p.m. tonight and ending at 5 a.m. on Monday. Brooklyn-bound A trains will also run express from 59 St-Columbus Circle to Canal Street, starting at 11:45 a.m. tonight to 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, and then again from 11:45 p.m. on Sunday to 5 a.m. on Monday. All C trains are suspended between 145 St and 168 St from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday; the A will make local stops during this time. And Brooklyn-bound C trains will make express stops from 59 St to Canal St in those hours. The E train will run local in Queens, from 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. on Monday.
Jamaica-179 St-bound F trains will run along the M line from 47-50 Sts Rock Ctr to Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av, starting at 9:45 p.m. tonight and ending at 5 a.m. on Monday. Starting at 11:45 p.m. and lasting until 5 a.m. Monday, Brooklyn-bound F trains will run along the A line from W 4 St-Wash Sq to Jay St-MetroTech. And F trains will run local in Queens starting at 12:30 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.
R trains are extended to Jamaica-179 St, starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at midnight on both Saturday and Sunday. And last but not least, the Franklin Av S shuttle is suspended, starting at 11:45 p.m. tonight and ending at 9 p.m. on Sunday.
