The body found on West 4th Street last night was identified as Bryan Jacobson, a 38-year-old events planner. And while a cop suggested to the Daily News that his death was "suspicious"—he was found with duct tape over his mouth and under a construction vehicle—now the News reports a suicide note was found in his apartment.
The ME's office will be conducting an autopsy, but cops think he jumped from his 250 Mercer Street apartment Building, "In the note, Jacobson wrote that he could no longer deal with his health issues, the sources said." A neighbor speculated to the News on Jacobson's outlook, "There was no question that he was depressed. Every time you spoke to him you got a negative response."
