The police are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect who assaulted a subway passenger in East Harlem.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred just after 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 6th, when a 45-year-old man on a northbound 6 train got into a fight with another passenger. When the train pulled into the 125th Street and Lexington Avenue station, the dispute continued onto the platform and the man was punched in the head and fell and struck his head on the platform.
The suspect fled and the victim was treated at Harlem Hospital, where he's in critical condition.
Police distributed video of the suspect, describing him as a light skinned male, 6' tall and weighing 180 pounds.
