This morning's cool breeze was a not too subtle hint that summer 2010 will be around for only one more week. In addition to the wind the humidity is really low, so watch out for brush fires. The high today will be near 75, which is actually a couple of degrees warmer than normal.
Tomorrow's forecast is too complicated to explain. Let's just say it will start out sunny and cool only to warm up and cloud over during the day. From late Thursday afternoon through the evening there will be a good chance of some much needed rain in the form of showers or possibly a thunderstorm. Highs will again be in the mid 70s.
A fairly strong cold front will sweep away the rain late Thursday night or early on Friday. The earlier the front gets here, the cooler Friday will be. As of now the best we can say for Friday's high is anywhere from upper 60s to mid 70s. The last full weekend of summer is shaping up with more certainty. Look for sunny skies and highs in the mid 70s on Saturday stretching to the upper 70s on Sunday. Mayor Bloomberg, this is not a good weekend to visit your Bermuda estate!
