The police have arrested a man who allegedly beat a man at a Brooklyn subway station with a pipe last week.

Leon Sims, 25, was charged with two counts of felony assault for the September 22 incident. According to the NYPD, at 1:20 a.m., a 35-year-old man was sitting on a bench inside the Ralph Avenue subway station when Sims struck the victim on the head repeatedly with a pipe.

The victim fell into the subway tracks and Sims allegedly fled along the trackbed.

The victim was removed from the tracks and taken to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was treated for cuts to his head and a chipped tooth.
