Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman as she was boarding the M train at Broadway-Lafayette on the morning of November 10. According to DNAinfo, the 42-year-old victim was groped from behind but was unhurt otherwise. After sexually assaulting her, he fled, but the NYPD has obtained surveillance video of the heavy-set suspect.

If you recognize the man (who appears to be holding an iPad), you're urged to contact Crimestoppers. As depressing as the reports of sexual assault in the subway are, it's encouraging to see that at least the underreported crime is getting more exposure. Remember: if you're afraid to speak up when it happens to you, most of the people on the train are happy to lend a hand in shaming the hell out of the perpetrator.
