Four subway dancers attacked a man and a woman who wouldn't clear space for them when they got on an A train, leaving them both with facial injuries according to police.
At around 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday, police say that the four dancers in their 20s began asking people for money and for them to move out of the way so they could do a routine on a southbound A train. One man, a 40-year-old, refused to move and after arguing with the four men, they hit him in the face.
The victim's 26-year-old significant other also got involved in the fight, and was struck by the suspects as well, who told her to "stay out of it" according to the NY Post, who also have a photo of the man in the aftermath of the attack. The dancers fled the train when it pulled into the Euclid Avenue station. Police say an investigation is still ongoing and no one has been arrested.
