Riders will do anything to understand the subway map better

The MTA braces itself for the first big day of commuter traffic on the rerouted subway lines. Yesterday, which was the first day of service, transit workers were out in force with maps in different languages, but still many, especially tourists, were confused. The MTA says to expect a few days to get used to the changes. There's also hope that the reopening of the Grand Street stop will help area businesses in Chinatown. Gothamist wants to know how your experiences on the "new and improved" subway lines are - let us know in comments!

NY1 has a good summary of the changes. And ceck out the Straphangers map for changes. Reader Steve recommended it because it shows you what streets stops are near.
