While the blizzard has seen many people lend stuck drivers a hand, there are some heartless predators out there. The Nassau County police say that a snowbound Toyota Prius driver—stuck in Hicksville around 1 a.m.—was robbed by two men who initially stopped to help him. Police say, "When they were not able to move the vehicle, one subject leaned into the window with his hand under his jacket and demanded the victim's wallet." Newsday reports the robbers ran off after taking the wallet.
