We're not going to sugarcoat it... We're getting screwed. Now is the time when we are supposed to be braking breaking out the flip flops flip-flops, trying out the new warm weather gear, fueling our mojo, and gearing up for the unofficial start of summer Memorial Day Weekend. But instead it's cold, it's grey, it's windy, it's "damp" and it's starting piss everyone off.

The news doesn't get much better. It is supposed to stay cloudy like this all week with showers likely throughout. And even though temps will eventually rise a bit up to maybe low 70s, even the National Weather Service sounds like they are in dispair despair.

[WE WILL] HOLD OUT HOPE THAT WE CAN DRY OUT AND SEE A RETURN TOWARD NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR MEMORIAL DAY.

Well, at least it's not a total washout. We'll keep our fingers crossed for this weather pattern to clear out in time for at least part of the weekend. Otherwise we'll be eating soggy dirty water dogs and watching beach volleyball on our Crazy Creek inside.

Interestingly enough, New York City is 5 of the top 50 destination for Memorial Day this year according to a Priceline.com press release which breaks the city into different neighborhoods. Upper Midtown was 2nd to Vegas, then Midtown West at 4, and Upper West at the 5 spot. If only we could bounce to a different neighborhood for better weather.

Editor's note: The spelling and grammar corrections above were submitted by the watchful eyes of our loyal readers. Sometimes, in our haste, we overlook some of these mistakes. Whoops. Anyway, it still doesn't change the fact that the weather is now even colder, more grey and even... more gray.
