On this beautiful day, one family welcomed two more members... in the back of a taxi. The FDNY says that just after 9 a.m., EMS members Jonathan Nagaki and Tiege Dolly were called to Clinton and Delancey Streets, where a woman had just given birth to a baby girl and a second baby was on the way.

According to the FDNY, "They cut the cord, suctioned the baby’s mouth and wrapped her in a foil blanket," with Nagaki translating in Spanish to the mother. Dolly said, "The baby was calm, everyone on the scene was calm." Then paramedics Alexander Khalef and Frank Kupferberg helped transport the mother—still in labor with the other twin—and baby to Bellevue, where she had another girl.

Khalef said that the team visited the family later, "Everyone was all smiles. The dad was happy because now he has four girls." Aww! And think about the stories the girls get to tell, "I was born in a taxi and then my sister was born at the hospital!"
