Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after getting hit by a private tour bus in Hell's Kitchen this morning.

According to the FDNY, the pair were crossing the street at the intersection of West 47th Street and 10th Avenue when they were struck by the driver of a Pennsylvania-based Trans-Bridge Lines bus just before 8 a.m. CBS New York reports that the victims were female tourists from Spain, both in their 60s.

The victims were taken to New York Hospital and Roosevelt Hospital, respectively. One of the women was apparently pinned under the bus before being extracted by paramedics. Officials said both are in serious but stable condition.

Gothamist Executive Editor Jen Chung reports that 47th Street between 9th and 10th Avenue remains closed to traffic.
