As we learned back in early March, Sue Simmons would be leaving WNBC/Channel 4 after 32 years on air, and the day is almost here. According to Fishbowl, Simmons will share her last broadcast with Chuck Scarborough on June 15th during the 11 p.m. hour.

The 69-year-old anchor is a favorite amongst New Yorkers, even if she's been phoning it in. The last name tumbling around the rumor mill as a replacement was Shiba Russell, who is already an anchor at the network. As of yet the station has not named a successor or commented on the possibility of it being Russell.

Set your DVRs for Simmons' last day on June 15th, and stay tuned! Also, it's the end of an era—what other local news team has been immortalized by Fountains of Wayne?
