Ten plastic bags containing a "red religious cloth" and human skeletal remains—including a skull—were found off the Bronx River Parkway yesterday. "My cousin was playing baseball, and on the way home, he walked past this skeleton and called me screaming," Awilda Cordero told the Post. "It was creepy." Pssh, Simpsons did it!
According to the paper's sources, the content of the bags included a rib cage, femur, and a burnt arm, and were found on the Metro-North tracks off East Tremont and Noble Avenues. The Medical Examiner is testing to confirm whether the remains are human.
