It seems this quiet street in Lopatcong Township, New Jersey has had just about enough of this season's incessant plowing and has taken matters into its own hole by widening its ravenous maw and devouring a passing snowplow. Mayor Tom McKay tells NBC New York that the sinkhole, located on the ever-romantic Wordsworth Lane, chomped on the snowplow at approximately 7:30 this morning. Luckily the "shaken" driver managed to escape.

The driver was apparently uninjured but was nonetheless taken to a nearby hospital for observation. Mayor McKay has since warned everyone to avoid Wordsworth Lane, especially those who find themselves behind the wheel of a delicious snowplow—now that Wordsworth Lane has developed a taste for plow, there's no turning back. Trust us.
