A woman's Friday morning subway commute turned into a nightmare when a shirtless man allegedly shoved his crotch into her arm.

The incident took place yesterday, on August 4th, around 10:20 a.m. According to the NYPD, the victim, a 36-year-old woman was on a northbound 7 train when a man "pressed his groin against the victim's arm."

The victim and suspect got into a physical altercation, police say, and when the train got to the 40 Street and Lowery Street subway station, the suspect fled north on 40 Street towards Queens Boulevard.

The victim was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital for observation.

Authorities released surveillance video of the suspect, describing him as having brown eyes and black hair and last seen wearing black sneakers, and black jeans.
