Well, it is another rainy, foggy day thanks to a low pressure system just south of Cape Cod. After three days that system is finally beginning to move northward. There is one last line of rain to contend with but that should be gone by this evening.

Once that low clears out we are looking at several sunny days. Tomorrow should be a perfect summer day with a light north breeze and a high in the low 80s. A dry cold front will cool the city down to the nippy low 60s on Friday morning, to be followed by an afternoon high in the upper 70s.

All signs currently point to an upper level ridge forming along the east coast over the weekend. The temperature should rebound into the mid 80s on Saturday and to around 90 on Sunday and Monday and maybe Tuesday. Luckily for us that ridge of high pressure will keep hurricane Danielle way out to sea.
