Oh, hello, is it already Thursday? Indeed...well, a short work week might seem like a gift from the gods, but really it means there's even less normal subway-ing before the system goes haywire over the weekend. No, you can't have anything nice or even a little bit of joy, because the world is naught but a dark, sad place and everything you love will go away.

Update 9/11: Don't expect much from the G train this weekend—service changes have been in place since a train derailed Thursday night, and it's unclear when things will be running smoothly again.

Anyway! Here's what's on tap this weekend:

The 1 train will not run between 14 St and South Ferry in either direction from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

2 trains will not run between E 180 St and 149 St-Grand Concourse in either direction, starting at 11:30 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday.

3 trains will not run between Crown Hts-Utica Av and New Lots Av in either direction from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

4 trains will not run between Crown Hts-Utica Av and New Lots Av in either direction from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 7:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:30 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

5 trains will not run in either direction between E 180 St and Bowling Green, starting at 6 a.m. and ending at 11:30 p.m. Saturday; that same change is in effect from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.

A trains will run along the F line from W 4 St-Wash Sq to Jay St-MetroTech in both directions, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday. Downtown A trains will run express from 125 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Queens-bound A trains will skip 104 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

All C trains will run along the F line from W 4 St-Wash Sq and Jay St-MetroTech, starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 11 p.m. on Saturdya and Sunday. Downtown C trains run express from 125 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Norwood-205 St bound D trains will run alone the N line from Coney Island-Stillwell Av to 36 St., starting at 6:45 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On that same track, trains make express stops from Canal St to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer bound E trains make express stops from Canal St to 34 St-Penn Station, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m. Monday.

F trains will not run in either direction between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and Kings Hwy, starting at 11:30 p.m. Friday and ending at 5 a.m Monday.

Astoria-Ditmars Blvd bound N trains run express from 59 St to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, with that change in effect from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. On that same track, trains will skip 49 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Manhattan-bound Q trains skip 49 St, both from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

R trains will not run in either direction between 59 St and 36 St in Brooklyn, starting at 11:45 p.m. Friday and ending at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, then again from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Forest Hills-71 Av bound R trains will run express from 59 St to Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, while Uptown R trains skip 49 St.

The Rockaway Park Shuttle will not run from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
