DoE official Laurence Harvey has been suspended without pay after being accused of sexually torturing his wife with hammers, nails and hangers because he believed she was cheating on him.

The abuse allegedly started last May when Harvey decided his wife needed to be "taught a lesson." So of course, according to the police, the education official tied her up with duct tape and assaulted her by "shoving a hammer and nail in her vagina and taking pictures" while saying "this is how whores are treated."

That first violent incident went unreported until this month when Harvey attacked his wife again, this time whipping her with a wire hanger, after the mother of his one-year-old twins asked where he was going one night. After that she reported both incidents to the police and Harvey, who makes $165,093-a-year from the DoE, is currently being held in lieu of bail.
