Some sad sack in a Yankees hat was caught on camera in a Long Island video game store one day after he allegedly burgled a Williamsburg apartment. Police say the dolorous doofus somehow entered an apartment on Bedford Avenue near North 4th Street (above the recently-defunct La Nonna) and stole somebody's debit card. The suspect pulled off the heist on January 19th at 11 p.m.; within 24 hours he was living the dream at GameStop in Nassau county.
As you can see from this video, the suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket and a black-and-white winter hat emblazoned with the "Yankees" name and logo. (Go Yankees!)
The video shows the young lad looking a little down in the dumps, probably because the GameStop was still sold out of The Legend of Zelda and he had to settle for Duck Hunt instead (I haven't played video games in decades and that's the best I could come up with—deal with it nerds). Or maybe this is just how everyone looks when they're in a GameStop on Long Island?
