Rapper Desiigner, responsible for summer hit "Panda," was arrested after an alleged road rage incident in Midtown on Thursday. He was charged with, among other things, possession of a criminal weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance; but the gun charge has since been dropped.

Cops say the 19-year-old Desiigner—real name Sidney Selby—got into an argument with a driver while in a white Cadillac Escalade, near West 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue at around 9 p.m. on Thursday. The driver of the other car called 911, claiming Desiigner pointed a gun at him, and when cops arrived, they allegedly found pills, hypodermic needles and weed in the car.

Desiigner and the four other men he was with were all arrested—he was hit with the aforementioned drug and weapons charges, along with menacing, but TMZ reports that the felony gun charge has been dropped. They identified the pills, which cops allegedly found on the car's console, as Oxycontin, methadone and steroids.
