Depending on how you feel about Harry Potter, the Quidditch World Cup in Dewitt Clinton Park on November 13th and 14th could either be the greatest thing you've ever seen or make you want to punch the next person who says "muggle." Run by the International Quidditch Association (created by Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe's son and his friends from Middlebury), at least 50 teams are expected to be in attendance, and the $200 team registration is open until November 1st. Next up: teenagers wearing body glitter start playing baseball because it's so hot.
