A 21-year-old Queens man has been arrested after he allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend at knifepoint and raped her during a nine-hour ordeal this weekend.

According to police, the harrowing incident got started when suspect Jonathan Coronel ran into his 18-year-old ex near a shoe store on the corner of 81st Street and Northern Boulevard around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The victim ran into the store after seeing Coronel, whom she had a restraining order against. Coronel followed her inside, took out a knife, and forced her to get into his car.

Witness Kalandrov Mosshilov told the News that Coronel was waving the knife in his face when he tried to stop him.

"A guy followed her into the store," Anada Krishna, who lives above the shop, told the News. "I hear the guy tell her, 'Give me my money! Give me my money!'"

Over nine hours later, cops say Coronel dropped the victim off around 9:40 p.m. at the corner of 82nd Street and Astoria Boulevard, a few blocks away from her Elmhurst home. The suspect was taken into custody at 88th Street and 24th Avenue a few hours later. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with a self-inflicted stab wound to the torso and is currently listed in stable condition.

He has been charged with kidnapping, rape, robbery, criminal possession of weapon, unlawful imprisonment and criminal contempt.
