A bartender at a Bayside watering hole was robbed by an armed man last week, police say, and surveillance video of the suspect holding up the employee has been released.
The incident occurred at 3:11 a.m. on Monday, February 27th, at J.D.'s Saloon, at 208-11 35 Avenue in Queens. According to the NYPD, the suspect "displayed a handgun and demanded money from the 35 year-old male employee. The employee complied and gave the individual approximately $700 in cash."
The suspect, who fled, was described as being 30-40 years old and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a red hooded sweater, dark colored pants and a black ski cap. The authorities also released an image of the suspect.
