Police are searching for a purse robber who is preying upon people enjoying a Coney Island amusement park. At least six people have had their purses stolen from a Luna Park locker area, according to the NYPD.

Investigators say all the incidents occurred at the locker area of Luna Park (1000 Surf Avenue) this month and go something like this: "An unidentified male removes the victim's purses from a storage area on a roller coaster ride as they ride the roller coaster" at the park. The incidents happened on May 2nd, 10th, 17th, and over Memorial Day weekend (on the 23rd), between the hours of 2:30 and 6 p.m.
