In case you were under the impression that subway etiquette does not extend to the Long Island Railroad, a tipster sent us a photo of a passenger using a crowded LIRR car (on the Montauk line) as her own traveling mattress this morning.

As you can see, the unnamed traveler has chosen to take up both seats on the Montauk line train, which we can probably all agree is bad form. She also has her knees bunched up against the seat in front of her, which is perhaps unpleasant for the person sitting in that seat.

Then again, this isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to the LIRR.
