This weekend, Toronto is hosting the G20 Summit, where world leaders are discussing stabilizing the global economy, and, so far, over 480 people have been arrested in intense protests outside the conference. Toronto police chief Bill Blair said, "We have never seen that level of wanton criminality and vandalism and destruction on our streets." According to CNN, "Four people were arrested leaving underground infrastructure tunnels outside the controlled access zone at 2:25 a.m... Workers are now welding shut some of the entrances to the underground infrastructure." A security spokesperson said, "At no time was there risk to the safety of summit participants."
