Police are trying to find a female prisoner who escaped custody last night after somehow slipping out of her handcuffs.

According to the NYPD, at around 9:10 p.m., Tiffany Neumann, 23, "was inside New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, located at 83 Gold Street receiving care when she managed to flee."

NBC New York reports, "She was arrested Saturday on the Upper West Side on charges of petit larceny, theft of service and criminal possession of stolen property. Police say she gave them a fake name and told them she was pregnant. Officers took her to the hospital, where she was able to get her hands out of the cuffs. It wasn't clear if Neumann was actually pregnant."

The Post adds Neumann "allegedly walk[ed] out without paying [her] check at an Upper West Side restaurant" and is "also suspected of swiping a shirt from a nearby clothing store."

Neumann is described as being approximately 5'3" and 120 pounds.
