Police are searching for a woman believed to have brutally attacked another woman after the two bumped into each other while departing a G train last Friday.

The perpetrator allegedly threatened the 26-year-old woman as she exited the subway at Metropolitan in Brooklyn, then followed the victim up the stairs and attempted to choke her. A good Samaritan intervened, according to police, and the victim proceeded to walk to the L platform.

But the enraged aggressor followed the woman to the platform, where she allegedly punched the victim in the face and kicked her in the back before fleeing the station.

The victim suffered a broken nose and bruising to the face. She was treated at Woodhull hospital, and released.

The suspect fled, but the victim was able to snap a photo of the woman who committed the alleged assault (right). The police describe her as 35-45-years-old, 5'5" tall and 155 pounds, with long black hair, who was last seen wearing a black tank top, dark red pants and brown boots.
