Investigators are looking for a woman accused of stealing a man's expensive watch—possibly after him drugging him.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred last Saturday, June 20th: A 35-year-old man met the suspect at a bar and then went to Hotel Le Jolie, at 235 Meeker Avenue, with her. Inside the hotel room, he had a drink and passed out. Police say that when he woke up, "the suspect was gone along with his Ulysse Nardin watch."
Police sources tell the Post the suspect drugged the man with Rohypnol, but the Daily News reports that investigators are still awaiting a toxicology report to confirm that. The watch is reportedly worth $11,000.
Police describe the suspect as a female in her early 30s, about 230 pounds with black curly hair. Surveillance video and images were also released. Hotel Le Jolie describes itself as " a distinct, European-inspired stay rivaling many other boutique Brooklyn hotels."
